OmsorgsCompaniet sheltered housing is an organization that works on behalf of the social services with individual sheltered housing adapted to the individual's need for support. The main target group is individuals who want to leave a criminal lifestyle. Other shelter placements are individuals who are placed due to a threat to the family based on a secondary threat.

The aim of a placement with us is to support the individual in establishing themselves in a new location and living an independent life. Goals and support are designed according to the needs of each individual and the assignment from the client.

The framework of a protective placement includes individual accommodation, personal support from a client coach, safety planning with access to emergency measures around the clock, motivational and supportive talks if desired, and some form of lifestyle treatment such as Crime as a Lifestyle (KSL). In all placements, collaboration with other actors such as the police, the prison service, the employment service, health care, education and agencies is of the utmost importance.
